Japanese video game composer Yasunori Mitsuda will be joining the PLAY! Concert Tour, bringing with him music from the SquareEnix games Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. Mitsuda will be at the Chicago premiere of PLAY! on May 27, 2006, and will stay for the meet and greet event after the show.

“Mitsuda-san’s music is flavorful and stylish. He has created some of the greatest video game music of all time,” says the show’s producer, Jason M. Paul. “To have Mitsuda-san come to the US for our premiere in Chicago is a dream come true.”

PLAY! is a concert series featuring music from several popular video game series. All tickets for the world-premiere of PLAY! and the VIP meet and greet are currently on sale at Ticketmaster. Additional tour dates and ticket information are available at the official PLAY! website
