Rumors: Soul Calibur IV To Feature Destructable Clothing?

According to the blog Hachimakikou, Soul Calibur IV may feature destructible clothing. This basically means that after fighting a long drawn out match, some of the characters (notably all female) will be wearing even less clothing than when the match started, due to the wear and tear that occurs when you hit clothes with an assortment of different melee weapons. This is, of course, a rumor. But if it turned out to be true, well – that would be quite something.
The author of this blog, Hatimaki, comments that “they should change the genre of this game to ‘3-D Real-Time Dressing Fighter!’”, or something like that. We’re not great at translating Japanese, sorry.
